CLAUDE WATERMARK REMOVER · CALLBACK TEST
Does opening a new file also clean it?
No. The file handler loads the source and updates its input count, but it leaves the previous cleaned result available. Clean the loaded file before copying.
What the test establishes
The synthetic file resolves to new text with a zero-width space. The saved result still belongs to old text, while the status names the new file. This separates successful reading from successful cleaning: a loaded-file message does not certify the result field. Read the source, run Clean Text, and inspect the output together before copying.
Reproduce the observation
Save tested-app.js and reproduce.cjs together, then run node reproduce.cjs. Compare its output with the recorded observation. The harness executes the actual homepage callback in a minimal DOM and records its resulting field values and method calls. File-like objects and clipboard responses are controlled substitutes. Runtime: v24.22.1. No submitted text or genuine Claude output is used.

}Capability boundary
This experiment substitutes a File-like object with an asynchronous text method. It does not open a disk file, invoke a native picker or test browser decoding. The earlier source-edit guide covers typing; this page isolates the asynchronous file handler and its loaded status.
This Claude watermark remover edits a small selected character set. These callback observations do not establish authorship, detector scores, statistical-watermark removal or end-to-end browser behavior. For real work, keep the original and compare the exact result at its destination.
Primary material and next step
The tested first-party source snapshot and complete harness are the primary material for this page. For broader scope, read invisible Unicode versus AI watermarks, or return to the cleaner.
