CLAUDE WATERMARK REMOVER · CALLBACK TEST
What does the cleaner do when clipboard writing rejects?
The tested catch branch focuses and selects the result, then asks you to copy it manually. It does not report a successful clipboard write.
What the test establishes
The clipboard mock throws before recording a write. Our mock then records focus and select calls on the result field. The fallback message is visible in the saved state. This provides a recovery path in the application code, but the correct next action is to copy the selected result using your device controls and check the pasted destination.
Reproduce the observation
Save tested-app.js and reproduce.cjs together, then run node reproduce.cjs. Compare its output with the recorded observation. The harness executes the actual homepage callback in a minimal DOM and records its resulting field values and method calls. File-like objects and clipboard responses are controlled substitutes. Runtime: v24.22.1. No submitted text or genuine Claude output is used.

The harness records method calls, not a real browser selection or system clipboard. It does not reproduce a particular permission policy, iframe restriction or secure-context failure. A successful manual copy is not asserted. The original input remains available for comparison.
This Claude watermark remover edits a small selected character set. These callback observations do not establish authorship, detector scores, statistical-watermark removal or end-to-end browser behavior. For real work, keep the original and compare the exact result at its destination.
Primary material and next step
The tested first-party source snapshot and complete harness are the primary material for this page. For broader scope, read invisible Unicode versus AI watermarks, or return to the cleaner.
